Eating Out/ Essen Gehen
An acquaintance once told me
that if he were to come back on earth he wouldn't learn to cook, then he
could enjoy eating out.
Ein Bekannter sagte mir mal "wenn ich wieder auf die Erde komme werde ich nie kochen lernen, dann kann ich essen gehen geniessen". Italian:

Setting culinary prejudices straight!
Contrary to usual (German) opinion, the UK has national and regional cookery traditions. A nation that buys its cheese in slices and seems to like carbonara with cream and boiled ham has little to say. Is the evening's cold platter simply breakfast again plus lettuce and tomatoes and maybe a dollop of mustard? (end of rant!).
Die Vorurteile zu recht biegen!
Gegen die übliche Meinung gibt es verschiedene regionale und nationale Spezialitäten in dem Vereinigten Königreich, eine Nation, die Carbonara mit Kochschinken und Sahne macht, und Risotto rührt bis eine Art Congee entsteht hat wenig zu melden. Ist der Unterschied zwischen Frühstück und Abendbrot nur Tomaten, Gurken und etwas Senf?
